Supercars young gun Ryan Wood celebrated a career milestone with his maiden Supercars Championship race victory in Race 14 of the 2025 Bosch Power Tools Perth Super 440.

Driving the #2 Walkinshaw Andretti United Ford Mustang, the talented New Zealander delivered a composed and determined performance, taking the lead during the opening stint before expertly managing his tyres and withstanding relentless pressure from reigning champion Will Brown in the closing laps. Wood crossed the finish line just 0.6129 seconds clear to secure an emotional first Supercars win. The result also marked the 300th podium finish for Walkinshaw Andretti United, making the team just the fourth in championship history to reach the milestone.
