About This Product: Legendary Supercars icon Craig Lowndes reaches an incredible milestone with Triple Eight Race Engineering at the 2019 Sandown 500.

The multiple Bathurst 1000 and championship winner will become the first driver in Supercars history to make 200 championship round starts with a single team.

In honour of the 200 round milestone, V8 Sleuth is proud to release a limited edition collector's print celebrating Lowndes' career-defining period with a team that has dominated the sport for much of the past two decades.

The mammoth print – measuring 1 metre wide – is endorsed by both Lowndes and Triple Eight and features spectacular imagery from across his 15 years with the team, including his six Mount Panorama triumphs with the team as well as every regular season and one-off livery his #888 car has carried.

The print measures 1000mm X 590mm printed on 250gsm matte paper using offset print technology, with a Pantone gold metallic ink used to give this print an extra special finish.

Only a limited edition run of these prints will be produced, with each to be individually numbered and signed by Lowndes himself.

About This Product:

Authentic Collectables are very excited to present this amazing limited edition print of the Nissan Bluebird Turbo driven by George Fury to claim pole position at the 1984 James Hardie 1000.

A two-time Australian Rally Champion and runner-up in the Australian Touring Car Championship, George Fury was a champion talent behind the wheel and his pole lap at Bathurst in 1984 against a who’s-who of names is a perfect example of his racing pedigree.

The list of drivers and cars that were present in the 1984 Hardie Heroes shootout featured some of the most iconic names ever witnessed across the history of Bathurst. Household names such as Brock, Johnson, Moffat, Richards, Grice, Morris, Masterton, Hansford and Walkinshaw were all present piloting legendary machinery from Holden, Ford, Mazda, BMW and Jaguar trying to record the fastest time around the mountain to claim the honour of starting on pole for Australia’s Great Race.

Despite all their mouth-watering credentials though, none were ultimately able to better Fury’s blistering pole time of 2:13.850, with the cold conditions and his immense talent behind the wheel helping the Turbo Nissan to the top of the timesheets. It was the first ever Bathurst 1000 pole position by a car fitted with a turbocharger and it was a pole lap time that would not be beaten until 1991.

Given it was the last year of Group C regulations, Fury’s time remains the fastest ever at Mt Panorama by a Group C touring car making this a truly unique and historically significant car in Bathurst 1000 history.

Featuring the artwork of Australian designer / illustrator Tristan Groves, this impressive vector illustrated print measures 594mm X 841mm printed on 250gsm matte paper using offset print technology and will be individually numbered and signed by the artist in an exclusive limited edition.

The 2013 chapter of The Great Race saw Ford Performance Racing finally climb onto the top step of the podium at Bathurst with Mark Winterbottom and Steven Richards at the helm of the #5 Pepsi Max backed Ford Falcon FG. They were strong all weekend and found themselves on the front row of the grid after finishing 2nd in the Top 10 Shootout. Despite a sluggish start which saw them drop down the order, the race was ultimately decided on the last lap with Winterbottom in a nail-biting fight with Holden rival Jamie Whincup. Whincup attempted a daring pass on the outside of Griffins Bend only for Winterbottom to hold on to create a gap that he then finely managed to the finish line to claim his first win at the mountain, and Richards’ third in a truly magical moment for the team.

Fabian Coulthard’s arrival at DJR Team Penske in 2016 helped build the foundations for sustained success for the team which was further enhanced when Scott McLaughlin and Ludo Lacroix arrived ahead of the 2017 season. Reserve Model Cars Online With Us:

Alternatively, you can also reserve future model car releases online with us. Please click on the black 'Reserve This Product' tab which should appear on the right hand side of your screen and enter your email address. You will then receive an email from us when the product arrives and it will be reserved for 48 hours for you to purchase on a 'first in, best dressed' basis while stock is available.

We offer this free reservation option due to the amount of time models (usually 6-12 months) generally take to produce so you don’t have to pay us until the model arrives.

Books, Prints + Other Product Releases:

Depending on the type of product or brand, we do offer a paid pre-order option on our website and details about this will be listed at the top of the product description if it’s available and when we expect it to arrive in our warehouse. A paid pre-order option will only ever be available on our website for products that aren’t models - we usually use this feature for prints, books and other non-model products.

We offer the paid pre-order option online with us for these products because we can predict production and shipping times more accurately and are usually much faster than the model cars to produce.

Of course, if you wish to order these items from your local stockist, please make an enquiry with them.

In Stock Items:

If a product is marked as in stock then it should now be available at your local Authentic Collectables stockist or you can shop online directly with us and it will usually be shipped on the next business day unless otherwise stated.

A Note Regarding Limited Editions:

Please be mindful that the vast majority of products available from us are produced in limited edition numbers and will only be available while stocks last which is why it is important to pre-order or reserve.

Shipping rates are calculated at the checkout, all Australian orders are sent with tracking, International orders are able to select from either Australia Post or DHL, with variable rates depending on the service selected.
